Successful SEO without Backlinks ??? Not Possible

Why backlinks are important for SEO?

  • SEO and backlinks go together side by side. Without one the other will not exist.

  • Backlinks are the very important and crucial part of SEO. However, it’s not the only thing that falls under Search Engine Optimization but it covers the major part of it.

  • Many search engines measure the relevancy of a website through the number of backlinks a website has. For Example Google considers that if the web page has been linked many times by the other pages, it indicates the quality and that’s the main highlight of backlinks.

  • And when a website gives backlinks to your website, it passes link juice (is the amount of positive ranking factor that a link passes from one page to the next) to your page which helps your website to appear in top ranking on the search engine.

  • The other important benefit of creating backlinks in SEO is to get more organic traffic. As said above, Google give more emphasis to the pages that have higher number of high-quality backlinks. Thus, the web page with lots of relevant backlinks appears in higher ranking than the pages on the search engine resulting in higher traffic.

  • One more major advantage of backlinks in SEO is the faster indexing. It is said that a website that has a higher number of backlinks gets seen faster by the search engine bots. Therefore, your pages get indexed more quickly in search engine results as compared to others.

So to conclude this Backlinks can help improve your SEO rankings only if they are of high quality. For example, for a cooking blog, a backlinks from a cooking institute website is relevant whereas a backlinks from a site selling food items can adversely impact the SEO rankings. Avoid getting backlinks from spam sites, or paid sites – purchasing hundreds of backlinks will not improve your SERP ranking overnight  and search engines does not like it at all.
